Be First to Hear: 2024 Smith Vineyard Chardonnay
A new vintage from one of Beechworth’s most historic vineyard sites.
Planted in 1978, the Smith Vineyard is regarded as the oldest remaining vineyard in Beechworth. It’s a site that continues to reward patience and careful farming, producing Chardonnay with the character, structure and finesse that have become hallmarks of Fighting Gully Road.
The 2023 Smith Vineyard Chardonnay was recently named White Wine of the Year at The Real Review’s Top Wineries of Australia 2026 Awards, receiving 98 points from Huon Hooke. It’s a wonderful recognition of this remarkable vineyard, and a vintage that has since sold out.
